Methods for doubled haploid (DH) production and use of DHs in basic studies and breeding practice
Identification of genetic, physiological and biochemical factors that determine the effective change of microspore development and induction of microspore embryogenesis: i) selection of marker genes associated with high effectiveness of microspore embryogenesis; ii) the role of reactive oxygen species and redox homeostasis in regulating microspore embryogenesis; iii) hormonal balance and its effect on microspore embryogenesis
In vitro cultures and their employment as model systems to study somatic embryogenesis, organogenesis and plant response to biotic and abiotic stresses at the cellular level
